उपवासफलात्मकविधिः — Upavāsa as Yajña-Equivalent Merit

षड्भि: स वर्षै्न॑पते सिध्यते नात्र संशय: । अग्निष्टोमस्य यज्ञस्य फल प्राप्नोति मानव:
ṣaḍbhiḥ sa varṣair nṛpate sidhyate nātra saṃśayaḥ | agniṣṭomasya yajñasya phalaṃ prāpnoti mānavaḥ ||
ହେ ନୃପତେ! ଛଅ ବର୍ଷ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସେ ସିଦ୍ଧି ପାଏ—ଏଥିରେ ସନ୍ଦେହ ନାହିଁ। ସେ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଅଗ୍ନିଷ୍ଟୋମ ଯଜ୍ଞର ଫଳ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ କରେ।
