इन्द्रेण गुह्मां निहितं वै गुहायां यद्धार्गवस्तपसेहा भ्यविन्दत्‌ । जाज्वल्यमानमुशनस्तेजसेह तत्साधयामासमहं वरेण्य

Transliteration

bhagīratha uvāca |

indreṇa guhyāṁ nihitaṁ vai guhāyāṁ yad bhārgavas tapasehābhyavindat |

jājvalyamānam uśanas tejaseha tat sādhayām āsa mahāṁ vareṇya ||

Translation

ଭଗୀରଥ କହିଲେ—“ଇନ୍ଦ୍ର ଯେ ଗୁହ୍ୟ ବସ୍ତୁକୁ ଗୋପନେ ଗୁହାରେ ନିହିତ କରିଥିଲେ, ଏବଂ ଯାହାକୁ ଭାର୍ଗବ ଏଠାରେ ତପସ୍ୟାଦ୍ୱାରା ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ କରିଥିଲେ—ଉଶନସ୍ (ଶୁକ୍ର)ଙ୍କ ତେଜରେ ଜ୍ୱଳମାନ ସେହି ଦୀପ୍ତ ଶକ୍ତିକୁ, ହେ ବରେଣ୍ୟ, ମୁଁ ମଧ୍ୟ ସାଧି ପାଇଛି।”
