अग्नीषोमं वैश्वदेवं धान्वन्तर्यमनन्तरम् । प्रजानां पतये चैव पृथग्घोमो विधीयते,पहले अग्नि और सोमको, फिर विश्वेदेवोंको, तदनन्तर धन्वन्तरिको, तत्पश्चात् प्रजापतिको पृथक्-पृथक् आहुति देनेका विधान है
agnīṣomaṃ vaiśvadevaṃ dhānvantaryam anantaram | prajānāṃ pataye caiva pṛthag homo vidhīyate ||
ହୋମକର୍ମରେ ପୃଥକ୍ ପୃଥକ୍ ଆହୁତିର ବିଧାନ ଅଛି—ପ୍ରଥମେ ଅଗ୍ନି ଓ ସୋମଙ୍କୁ ସହିତ, ପରେ ବିଶ୍ୱେଦେବମାନଙ୍କୁ, ତାପରେ ଧନ୍ୱନ୍ତରିଙ୍କୁ, ଏବଂ ତଦନନ୍ତରେ ପ୍ରଜାପତିଙ୍କୁ (ପ୍ରଜାମାନଙ୍କ ପତିଙ୍କୁ) ।
