ययाति-देवयानी-शर्मिष्ठा विवादः — Śukra’s Curse and the Disclosure of Lineage
एवं हि मे कथयति शर्मिष्ठा वार्षपर्वणी । वचन तीक्षणपरुषं क्रोधरक्तेक्षणा भृशम्,वृषपर्वाकी लाड़िली शर्मिष्ठा क्रोध8े लाल आँखें करके आज मुझसे इस प्रकार अत्यन्त तीखे और कठोर वचन कह रही थी--
evaṁ hi me kathayati śarmiṣṭhā vārṣaparvaṇī | vacanaṁ tīkṣṇa-paruṣaṁ krodha-rakt-ekṣaṇā bhṛśam ||
ବୈଶମ୍ପାୟନ କହିଲେ—ବୃଷପର୍ବଣଙ୍କ କନ୍ୟା ଶର୍ମିଷ୍ଠା କ୍ରୋଧରେ ରକ୍ତବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ନୟନ ହୋଇ ମୋତେ ଅତ୍ୟନ୍ତ ତୀକ୍ଷ୍ଣ ଓ କଠୋର ବଚନ କହିଲା।
