गौरुवाच कशाग्रदण्डाभिह्वतां क्रोशन्ती मामनाथवत् | विश्वामित्रबलैघोरैर्भगवन् किमुपेक्षसे,गौने कहा--भगवन! विश्वामित्रके निर्दय सैनिक मुझे कोड़ों और डंडोंसे पीट रहे हैं। मैं अनाथकी भाँति क्रन्दन कर रही हूँ। आप क्यों मेरी उपेक्षा कर रहे हैं?

ଗାଈ କହିଲା—ଭଗବନ୍! ବିଶ୍ୱାମିତ୍ରର କ୍ରୁର ସେନାମାନେ ମୋତେ କୋଡ଼ା ଓ ଦଣ୍ଡରେ ପିଟୁଛନ୍ତି। ମୁଁ ଅନାଥ ପରି ଆର୍ତ୍ତନାଦ କରୁଛି। ଆପଣ କାହିଁକି ମୋତେ ଉପେକ୍ଷା କରୁଛନ୍ତି?
