ब्राह्मणेषु कुतो वीर्य प्रशान्तेषु धृतात्मसु । अर्बुदेन गवां यस्त्वं न ददासि ममेप्सितम्
brāhmaṇeṣu kuto vīryaṁ praśānteṣu dhṛtātmasu | arbudena gavāṁ yas tvaṁ na dadāsi mamepsitam ||
ବିଶ୍ୱାମିତ୍ର କହିଲେ— “ଶାନ୍ତ ଓ ଆତ୍ମସଂଯମୀ ବ୍ରାହ୍ମଣମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବଳ କେଉଁଠୁ? ତଥାପି ତୁମେ ମୋର ଇଚ୍ଛିତ—ଏକ ଅର୍ବୁଦ (କୋଟି) ଗାଈ—ମୋତେ ଦେଉନାହାଁ।”
