श्रुत्वा वसिष्ठो ऽपि पपात भूमौ पौत्रस्य वाक्यं स रुदन्दयालुः अरुन्धती चाश्रमवासिनस्तदा मुनेर्वसिष्ठस्य मुनीश्वराश् च

ପୌତ୍ରର ବାକ୍ୟ ଶୁଣି ଦୟାଳୁ ବସିଷ୍ଠ ମୁନି ମଧ୍ୟ କାନ୍ଦି କାନ୍ଦି ଭୂମିରେ ପଡ଼ିଗଲେ। ସେତେବେଳେ ଅରୁନ୍ଧତୀ, ଆଶ୍ରମବାସୀମାନେ ଓ ବସିଷ୍ଠ-ମୁନିଙ୍କ ସହ ସଂପୃକ୍ତ ମହର୍ଷିମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଶୋକାକୁଳ ହୋଇ ବିଳାପ କଲେ।
