देवादिसृष्टिकथनम् (वसिष्ठशोकः, पराशरजन्म, एकलिङ्गपूजा, रुद्रदर्शनम्)
त्वया तस्मान्महाभाग ददाम्यन्यं महावरम् पुराणसंहिताकर्ता भवान्वत्स भविष्यति
tvayā tasmānmahābhāga dadāmyanyaṃ mahāvaram purāṇasaṃhitākartā bhavānvatsa bhaviṣyati
ଏହିପରି, ହେ ମହାଭାଗ, ମୁଁ ତୁମକୁ ଆଉ ଗୋଟିଏ ମହାବର ଦେଉଛି—ବତ୍ସ, ତୁମେ ପୁରାଣ-ସଂହିତାର କର୍ତ୍ତା ଓ ସଂପାଦକ ହେବ। ଏହାଦ୍ୱାରା ପଶୁପତି ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ କୃପାରେ ପାଶବଦ୍ଧ ପଶୁମାନଙ୍କ ମୋକ୍ଷାର୍ଥେ ଶୈବସିଦ୍ଧାନ୍ତ ସୁରକ୍ଷିତ ଓ ପ୍ରଚାରିତ ହେବ।
