अहो अद्भुतमेतन्मे व्यापृतस्यापि नित्यदा । न ह्येधन्ते प्रजा नूनं दैवमत्र विघातकम् ॥ ५१ ॥
aho adbhutam etan me vyāpṛtasyāpi nityadā na hy edhante prajā nūnaṁ daivam atra vighātakam
ବ୍ରହ୍ମା ମନେମନେ ଭାବିଲେ—ହାୟ, ଏହା କେତେ ଅଦ୍ଭୁତ! ମୁଁ ନିତ୍ୟ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟରେ ବ୍ୟସ୍ତ ଓ ସର୍ବତ୍ର ବ୍ୟାପ୍ତ ଥିଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଜା ବଢ଼ୁନାହିଁ; ଏଥିରେ ବିଘ୍ନକାରୀ କାରଣ ଦୈବ ହିଁ।
