ब्रह्महा पितृहा गोघ्नो मातृहाचार्यहाघवान् । श्वाद: पुल्कसको वापि शुद्ध्येरन् यस्य कीर्तनात् ॥ ८ ॥ तमश्वमेधेन महामखेन श्रद्धान्वितोऽस्माभिरनुष्ठितेन । हत्वापि सब्रह्मचराचरं त्वं न लिप्यसे किं खलनिग्रहेण ॥ ९ ॥

Transliteration

brahma-hā pitṛ-hā go-ghno mātṛ-hācārya-hāghavān śvādaḥ pulkasako vāpi śuddhyeran yasya kīrtanāt

Translation

ଯେଉଁ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ବ୍ରାହ୍ମଣ, ଗାଈ, ପିତା, ମାତା କିମ୍ବା ଗୁରୁଙ୍କୁ ହତ୍ୟା କରିଥାଏ, ସେ ଭଗବାନ ନାରାୟଣଙ୍କ ପବିତ୍ର ନାମ ଜପ କରିବା ଦ୍ୱାରା ତୁରନ୍ତ ସମସ୍ତ ପାପରୁ ମୁକ୍ତ ହୋଇପାରିବ। ଚଣ୍ଡାଳ ଭଳି ଅନ୍ୟ ପାପୀମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଏହି ଉପାୟରେ ମୁକ୍ତ ହୋଇପାରିବେ। ଆମେ ତୁମ ପାଇଁ ମହାନ ଅଶ୍ୱମେଧ ଯଜ୍ଞ କରିବୁ। ଯଦି ତୁମେ ସେହି ଉପାୟରେ ଭଗବାନ ନାରାୟଣଙ୍କୁ ସନ୍ତୁଷ୍ଟ କର, ତେବେ ତୁମେ କାହିଁକି ଭୟ କରିବ?
