Varṣa-devatā Worship in Jambūdvīpa: Hayagrīva/Hayaśīrṣa, Nṛsiṁha, Kāmadeva (Pradyumna), Matsya, Kūrma, and Varāha

उत्तरेषु च कुरुषु भगवान् यज्ञपुरुष: कृतवराहरूप आस्ते तं तु देवी हैषा भू: सह कुरुभिरस्खलितभक्तियोगेनोपधावति इमां च परमामुपनिषदमावर्तयति ॥ ३४ ॥

uttareṣu ca kuruṣu bhagavān yajña-puruṣaḥ kṛta-varāha-rūpa āste taṁ tu devī haiṣā bhūḥ saha kurubhir askhalita-bhakti-yogenopadhāvati imāṁ ca paramām upaniṣadam āvartayati.

ଶୁକଦେବ ଗୋସ୍ୱାମୀ କହିଲେ—ହେ ରାଜନ୍! ଜମ୍ବୂଦ୍ୱୀପର ଉତ୍ତର ଭାଗରେ ଥିବା ଉତ୍ତରକୁରୁ-ବର୍ଷରେ ଯଜ୍ଞପୁରୁଷ ଭଗବାନ୍ ବରାହରୂପ ଧାରଣ କରି ବସନ୍ତି। ସେଠାରେ ଦେବୀ ଭୂମି ଓ କୁରୁମାନଙ୍କ ସହ ଅନ୍ୟ ନିବାସୀମାନେ ଅସ୍ଖଳିତ ଭକ୍ତିଯୋଗରେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ପୂଜନ୍ତି ଏବଂ ଏହି ପରମ ଉପନିଷଦ୍ ମନ୍ତ୍ରକୁ ପୁନଃପୁନଃ ଜପନ୍ତି।
