Parīkṣit’s Final Absorption, Takṣaka’s Bite, Janamejaya’s Snake Sacrifice, and the Vedic Sound-Lineage
सूत उवाच इत्युक्तस्तमनुज्ञाप्य भगवान् बादरायणि: । जगाम भिक्षुभि: साकं नरदेवेन पूजित: ॥ ८ ॥
sūta uvāca ity uktas tam anujñāpya bhagavān bādarāyaṇiḥ jagāma bhikṣubhiḥ sākaṁ nara-devena pūjitaḥ
ସୂତ ଗୋସ୍ୱାମୀ କହିଲେ—ଏଭଳି ଅନୁରୋଧ ହେଲାପରେ ଭଗବାନ ବାଦରାୟଣି (ଶୁକଦେବ) ରାଜା ପରୀକ୍ଷିତଙ୍କୁ ଅନୁମତି ଦେଲେ। ତାପରେ ରାଜା ଓ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ଋଷିମାନଙ୍କ ଦ୍ୱାରା ପୂଜିତ ହୋଇ, ଭିକ୍ଷୁମାନଙ୍କ ସହ ସେଠାରୁ ପ୍ରସ୍ଥାନ କଲେ।
