This verse lists several sons in Krishna’s line through Rukmini—Charudeṣṇa, Sudeṣṇa, Charudeha, Suchāru, Cārugupta, Bhadracāru, Cārucandra, Vicāru, and Cāru—within the genealogy headed by Pradyumna.
Śukadeva Gosvāmī narrates Krishna’s dynasty to preserve the sacred history of the Yadus, showing how the Lord’s earthly pastimes include establishing exemplary lineages and devotees connected to Him.
Genealogical verses teach reverence for paramparā and sacred history—reminding a reader that bhakti is lived in relationships, families, and communities centered on the Lord.
