Sukta 10
कृष्णं नियानं हरयः सुपर्णा अपो वसाना दिवमुत्पतन्ति । तं आववृत्रन्त्सदनादृतस्यादिद् घृतेन पृथिवीं व्यूऽदुः
kṛṣṇáṃ niyā́naṃ háryaḥ supárṇā ápo vásānā dívam útpata nti | táṃ āvavṛtrán sádanād ṛtásyā́d íd ghṛténa pṛthivī́ṃ ví ūduḥ
The tawny, fair-winged powers, robed in waters, spring aloft to heaven. That black restraint they overcame from the seat of Order; then verily with ghee they opened and anointed the Earth.
କୃଷ୍ଣ ନିୟାନ (କଳା ଅବରୋଧ)କୁ ହରୟଃ ସୁପର୍ଣାଃ—ତାମ୍ର-ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣବର୍ଣ୍ଣ, ସୁନ୍ଦର ପକ୍ଷବାହୀ ଶକ୍ତିମାନେ—ଜଳକୁ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ପରି ପିନ୍ଧି ଦିବକୁ ଉଡ଼ିଯାଆନ୍ତି। ଋତର ଆସନରୁ ସେମାନେ ସେଇ କଳା ବନ୍ଧନକୁ ଜୟ କଲେ; ତାପରେ ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ଘୃତଦ୍ୱାରା ପୃଥିବୀକୁ ଖୋଲି ଅଭିଷେକ କଲେ।
