katháṃ gāyatrī́ trivṛ́taṃ vyā̀p katháṃ triṣṭúp pañcadaśéna kalpate | trayastríṃśena jágatī kathám anuṣṭúp kathám ekaviṃśáḥ ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

How did Gāyatrī attain the Trivṛt’s spread? how is Triṣṭubh made ready by the Fifteen? By the Thirty-three how (is) Jagatī? how (is) Anuṣṭubh? how the Twenty-one?

ଗାୟତ୍ରୀ ତ୍ରିବୃତ୍‌ର ବ୍ୟାପ୍ତି କିପରି ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ କଲା? ତ୍ରିଷ୍ଟୁପ୍ ପନ୍ଦର ଦ୍ୱାରା କିପରି ସଜ୍ଜ/ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥିତ ହୁଏ? ତେତିଶ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଜଗତୀ କିପରି (ସ୍ଥାପିତ ହୁଏ)? ଅନୁଷ୍ଟୁପ୍ କିପରି? ଏବଂ ଏକବିଂଶ (ଏକୋଇଶ) କିପରି?
