वपनम्। आयमगन्त्सविता क्षुरेणोष्णेन वाय उदकेनेहि । आदित्या रुद्रा वसव उन्दन्तु सचेतसः सोमस्य राज्ञो वपत प्रचेतसः

IAST Transliteration

vápanam | ā́ iyám agan savitā́ kṣuréṇóṣṇéna vāyo udakénehi | ādityā́ rudrā́ vásava undantu sácetasaḥ sómasya rā́jño vapata prá-cetasaḥ ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Shaving. Hither hath this (rite) come: Savitar with the razor, with the warm (water); O Vāyu, come with the water. Let the Ādityas, the Rudras, the Vasus—of one accord—bedew (him). Shave ye the King Soma, ye provident and foreknowing.

Translation

ବପନ (କ୍ଷୌର). ଏହି କର୍ମ ଏଠାକୁ ଆସିଛି: ସବିତା ଉଷ୍ଣ କ୍ଷୁର (ଉସ୍ତ୍ରା) ସହ ଆସିଛନ୍ତି; ହେ ବାୟୁ, ଜଳ ସହ ଏଠାକୁ ଆସ। ଆଦିତ୍ୟମାନେ, ରୁଦ୍ରମାନେ, ବସୁମାନେ—ଏକଚିତ୍ତ ହୋଇ—ତାଙ୍କୁ ସିଞ୍ଚନ୍ତୁ। ହେ ପ୍ରଚେତସ (ପ୍ରଜ୍ଞାବାନ, ପୂର୍ବଜ୍ଞ)ମାନେ, ସୋମରାଜଙ୍କର କ୍ଷୌର କର।
