लोहितेन स्वधितिना मिथुनं कर्णयोः कृधि । अकर्तामश्विना लक्ष्म तदस्तु प्रजया बहु

IAST Transliteration

lóhitena svádhitinā mithunáṃ kárṇayoh kr̥dhí | ákartām aśvínā lákṣma tád astu prajáyā bahú ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

With the red-hued axe make thou a paired mark upon the ears. Let the Aśvins fashion the sign: so be it—abundant in progeny.

Translation

ଲୋହିତବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ସ୍ୱଧିତି (କୁହାଡ଼ି) ଦ୍ୱାରା କାନରେ ଯୁଗଳ ଚିହ୍ନ କର। ଅଶ୍ୱିନଦ୍ୱୟ ସେହି ଲକ୍ଷ୍ମ (ଲକ୍ଷଣ) ଗଢ଼ନ୍ତୁ; ତଥାସ୍ତୁ—ପ୍ରଜାରେ ବହୁ ସମୃଦ୍ଧି ହେଉ।
