इतिहासस्य च वै स पुराणस्य च गाथानां च नाराशंसीनां च प्रियं धाम भवति य एवं वेद

IAST Transliteration

itihāsásya ca váí sá purāṇásya ca gā́thānāṃ ca nārāśaṃsī́nāṃ ca priyáṃ dhā́ma bhávati yá eváṃ véda

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Verily he who thus knoweth becometh a dear abode—a beloved station—of Itihāsa and of Purāṇa, and of the Gāthās, and of the Nārāśaṃsī praises.

ନିଶ୍ଚୟ, ଯେ ଏପରି ଜାଣେ ସେ ଇତିହାସ ଓ ପୁରାଣ, ଏବଂ ଗାଥାମାନେ ଓ ନାରାଶଂସୀ ସ୍ତୁତିମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରିୟ ଧାମ—ପ୍ରିୟ ନିବାସସ୍ଥାନ—ହୁଏ।
