Sukta 3
आपस्पुत्रासो अभि सं विशध्वमिमं जीवं जीवधन्याः समेत्य । तासां भजध्वममृतं यमाहुर्यमोदनं पचति वां जनित्री
ā́paḥ putrā́so abhí sáṁ víśadhvam imáṁ jīváṁ jī́vadhanyāḥ samétya | tāsā́ṁ bhajadhvam amṛ́taṁ yám ā́hur yám-odanáṁ pácati vā́ṁ janitrī́ ||
Ye Sons of Waters, gather ye and enter round about this living man, O ye for whom life is treasure, assembling. Partake ye of that deathless thing which men call Yama’s mess—Yama’s oblation-porridge—which your Mother, the Begetter, cooketh for you twain.
ହେ ଆପଃପୁତ୍ରାସଃ (ଜଳର ପୁତ୍ରମାନେ), ସମେତ ହେଉ ଏବଂ ଏହି ଜୀବନ୍ତ ପୁରୁଷଙ୍କ ଚାରିପାଖରେ ସବୁଦିଗରୁ ପ୍ରବେଶ କର—ହେ ଯେମାନେ ଜୀବନକୁ ଧନ ଭାବେ ଧର, ସମାଗମ କରି। ଯେ ଅମୃତ ତତ୍ତ୍ୱକୁ ଲୋକେ ‘ଯମର ଓଦନ’ (ଯମ-ଭୋଜନ) ବୋଲି କହନ୍ତି, ତାହାରେ ଭାଗ ନିଅ; ସେଇ ଯମର ଅର୍ପଣ-ଓଦନକୁ ତୁମ ଜନିତ୍ରୀ ମାତା (ଜନ୍ମଦାତ୍ରୀ) ତୁମ ଦୁଇଜଣଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ପକାଉଛି।
