Sukta 3

प्र यच्छ पर्शुं त्वरया हरौसमहिंसन्त ओषधीर्दान्तु पर्वन्। यासां सोमः परि राज्यं बभूवामन्युता नो वीरुधो भवन्तु

prá yaccha párśuṃ tvaráyā haraúsám ahíṃsanta óṣadhīr dāntu párvan | yā́sāṃ sómaḥ pári rā́jyaṃ babhū́vā́manyutā no vīrúdho bhavantu ||

Hand forth the axe with speed unto Harousa; harming not, let them yield the herbs at joint and node. Over whom hath Soma’s kingship been established—unangered, for us let the plants be gracious.

ହରୌସା ପାଖକୁ କୁହାଡ଼ିକୁ ତ୍ୱରାରେ ଆଗେ ଦିଅ; ଅହିଂସାରେ, ସନ୍ଧି ଓ ଗଠି (ପର୍ବନ୍) ଠାରେ ଔଷଧୀମାନେ ଫଳନ୍ତୁ। ଯାହାଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ସୋମଙ୍କ ରାଜ୍ୟତ୍ୱ ସ୍ଥାପିତ—କ୍ରୋଧହୀନ ହୋଇ, ଆମ ପାଇଁ ବୀରୁଧଃ (ବନସ୍ପତିମାନେ) ପ୍ରସନ୍ନ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ।
