Sukta 8
पुण्डरीकं नवद्वारं त्रिभिर्गुणेभिरावृतम्। तस्मिन् यद् यक्षमात्मन्वत् तद् वै ब्रह्मविदो विदुः
puṇḍarī́kaṃ náva-dvāraṃ tribhír guṇébhir āvṛ́tam | tasmín yád yákṣmā́tman-vát tád vái brahma-vidó viduḥ ||
A lotus-seat with nine portals, enclosed about with the threefold qualities: what therein is selfed with wasting-disease, that, verily, the knowers of Brahman know.
ନବଦ୍ୱାରଯୁକ୍ତ ପୁଣ୍ଡରୀକ (କମଳାସନ) ତିନି ଗୁଣରେ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଆବୃତ। ତାହାର ଭିତରେ ଯାହା ଯକ୍ଷ୍ମା ସହିତ ଆତ୍ମବତ୍—ଆତ୍ମସ୍ୱରୂପରେ—ବିଦ୍ୟମାନ, ତାହାକୁ ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ବ୍ରହ୍ମବିଦମାନେ ଜାଣନ୍ତି।
