Sukta 8
अनन्तं विततं पुरुत्रानन्तमन्तवच्चा समन्ते । ते नाकपालश्चरति विचिन्वन् विद्वान् भूतमुत भव्यमस्य
anantáṃ vitatáṃ purutrā́nantám ántavac cā́ samanté | té nā́kapālaś cárati vicínvan vídvān bhūtám utá bhávyam asya ||
Endless, outstretched, in many a place—endless, and yet as having end, on every side: there the Guardian of the heavenly vault goeth, discerning, wise, knowing what hath been and what shall be of it.
ଅନନ୍ତ, ବିସ୍ତୃତ, ଅନେକ ସ୍ଥାନରେ—ଅନନ୍ତ ହେଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ ସମସ୍ତ ଦିଗରେ ଅନ୍ତ ଥିବା ପରି; ସେଠାରେ ନାକପାଲ (ଆକାଶ-ମଣ୍ଡପର ରକ୍ଷକ) ବିଚାର କରି, ଖୋଜି ଖୋଜି ଚାଲେ—ବିଦ୍ୱାନ, ଏହାର ଭୂତ ଓ ଭବ୍ୟ, ଯାହା ହୋଇଛି ଓ ଯାହା ହେବ, ଜାଣି।
