Transliteration

tasmād imaṃ dvyakṣaṃ sahasrākṣam āhuḥ

Translation

ଏହିକାରଣରୁ, ଯଦିଓ ତାଙ୍କର ଦୁଇଟି ଚକ୍ଷୁ ଅଛି, ତଥାପି ତାଙ୍କୁ ‘ସହସ୍ରାକ୍ଷ’ (ହଜାର‑ଚକ୍ଷୁ) ବୋଲି କୁହାଯାଏ।
