कापटिकश्चात्र पूर्वावरुद्धस्तेषामर्थमानावक्षिप्तमेकैकममात्यमुपजपेत् असत्प्रवृत्तो अयं राजा साध्वेनं हत्वान्यं प्रतिपादयामः सर्वेषामेतद् रोचते कथं वा तव इति ॥ कZ_०१.१०.११ ॥

Transliteration

kāpaṭikaścātra pūrvāvaruddhas teṣām arthamānāvakṣiptam ekaikam amātyam upajapet: asatpravṛtto ’yaṃ rājā; sādhv enaṃ hatvā anyaṃ pratipādayāmaḥ; sarveṣām etad rocate—kathaṃ vā tava? iti.

Translation

ଏଠାରେ ନିଷ୍ଠାର ଭାଣ୍ଡ କରୁଥିବା ଏକ ପ୍ରେରକ—ଯାହାକୁ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ନିୟନ୍ତ୍ରଣ/ନଜରବନ୍ଦୀରେ ରଖାଯାଇଛି—ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଅମାତ୍ୟଙ୍କୁ ଏକେକ କରି ଗୁପ୍ତରେ ପରୀକ୍ଷା କରି କହିବ: “ଏହି ରାଜା ଅଧର୍ମରେ ଚାଲେ; ଚଳ, ନ୍ୟାୟସଙ୍ଗତ ଭାବେ ଏହାକୁ ହତ୍ୟା କରି ଅନ୍ୟକୁ ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା କରିବା। ଏହା ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ଭଲ ଲାଗେ—ତୁମର କ’ଣ ମତ?”
