अर्घकाण्डम् (Argha-kāṇḍa) — Standards of Argha and Month-wise Prescriptions under Portent Conditions
ଯୁଦ୍ଧଜୟାର୍ଣବ ଧାରାରେ ଏହି ଅଧ୍ୟାୟରେ ଭଗବାନ ଅଗ୍ନି ଯୁଦ୍ଧ-ରେଖାଚିତ୍ର ଆଦି ଚର୍ଚ୍ଚାରୁ ଘୁରି, ଉତ୍ପାତ ଦେଖାଦେଲେ ଧର୍ମସମ୍ମତ ଆର୍ଥିକ ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟା କିପରି କରିବା ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ କରନ୍ତି। ଉଲ୍କାପାତ, ଭୂକମ୍ପ, ଅଶୁଭ ଗର୍ଜନ, ଗ୍ରହଣ, ଧୂମକେତୁ-ଦର୍ଶନ ଓ ଦିଗ୍ଦାହ—ଜ୍ୟୋତିଷ ଅନୁସାରେ ଏଗୁଡ଼ିକ ଅସ୍ଥିରତାର ଚିହ୍ନ; ତେଣୁ ଶାନ୍ତି ଓ ସ୍ଥିରୀକରଣ ପାଇଁ ‘ଅର୍ଘ’ର ମାନ (ନିୟତ ଦାନ-ପ୍ରତିଉତ୍ତର) ନିର୍ଣ୍ଣୟ ହୁଏ। ସାଧକ ମାସେ ମାସେ ଲକ୍ଷଣ ଗଣନା କରି ସଂଗ୍ରହ ଓ ଦାନର ପରିମାଣ ବଢ଼ାଇବ—ଚୈତ୍ରରେ ଛଅ ମାସ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଫଳ ତୀବ୍ର, ବୈଶାଖରେ ସଂଗ୍ରହର ଛଅଗୁଣ ବୃଦ୍ଧି, ଜ୍ୟେଷ୍ଠ-ଆଷାଢ଼ରେ ଯବ-ଗହମ ଭଳି ଧାନ୍ୟ ପ୍ରାଧାନ୍ୟ। ପରେ ଶ୍ରାବଣରେ ଘିଅ/ତେଲ, ଆଶ୍ୱିନରେ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ଓ ଧାନ୍ୟ, କାର୍ତ୍ତିକରେ ଧାନ୍ୟ, ମାର୍ଗଶୀର୍ଷରେ କିଣା ଦାନଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ, ପୁଷ୍ୟରେ କେଶର/ସୁଗନ୍ଧ, ମାଘରେ ଧାନ୍ୟ, ଫାଲ୍ଗୁନରେ କିଣା ସୁଗନ୍ଧି ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦିଷ୍ଟ। ଏଭଳି ଶକୁନବିଦ୍ୟା, ଋତୁ-ଅର୍ଥନୀତି ଓ ଧର୍ମଦାନ ଜୟ-ପ୍ରୋଟୋକଲରେ ଏକତ୍ର ହୁଏ।
