न यज्ञदानाध्ययनोपवासैस्तीर्थाभिषेकैरपि चाग्निहोत्रैः ॥ दानैरनेकैर्विधिसम्प्रदत्तैर्न तत्फलं श्राद्धगृहस्य धर्मे ॥

na yajñadānādhyayanopavāsais tīrthābhiṣekair api cāgnihotrair || dānair anekair vidhisampradattair na tatphalaṃ śrāddhagṛhasya dharme ||

ယဇ్ఞ၊ ဒါန၊ သင်ယူလေ့လာခြင်း သို့မဟုတ် ဥပဝါသ (အစာရှောင်) တို့ဖြင့် မဟုတ်၊ တီရ္ထ (tīrtha) တွင် ရေချိုးခြင်းဖြင့်လည်း မဟုတ်၊ အဂ္နိဟောတရ (agnihotra) ကర్మများဖြင့်လည်း မဟုတ်၊ စည်းကမ်းအတိုင်း ပေးအပ်သော ဒါနအမျိုးမျိုးများဖြင့်လည်း မဟုတ်—śrāddha ပြုသော ဂৃহস্থ၏ ဓမ္မ၌ရှိသည့် ထိုဖလကိုသာ ရရှိနိုင်သည်။
