Yogatattva
ज्ञातं येन निजं रूपं कैवल्यं परमं पदम् । निष्कलं निर्मलं साक्षात् सच्चिदानन्दरूपकम् ॥
उत्पत्तिस्थितिसंहारस्फूर्तिज्ञानविवर्जितम् । एतज्ज्ञानमिति प्रोक्तम् अथ योगं ब्रवीमि ते ॥
योगो हि बहुधा ब्रह्मन् भिद्यते व्यवहारतः । मन्त्रयोगो लयश्चैव हठोऽसौ राजयोगतः ॥
ज्ञातम् । येन । निजम् । रूपम् । कैवल्यम् । परमम् । पदम् । निष्कलम् । निर्मलम् । साक्षात् । सत्-चित्-आनन्द-रूपकम् ।
उत्पत्ति-स्थिति-संहार-स्फूर्ति-ज्ञान-विवर्जितम् । एतत् । ज्ञानम् । इति । प्रोक्तम् । अथ । योगम् । ब्रवीमि । ते ।
योगः । हि । बहुधा । ब्रह्मन् । भिद्यते । व्यवहारतः । मन्त्र-योगः । लयः । च । एव । हठः । असौ । राज-योगतः ।
jñātaṃ yena nijaṃ rūpaṃ kaivalyaṃ paramaṃ padam | niṣkalaṃ nirmalaṃ sākṣāt saccidānandarūpakam ||
utpattisthitisaṃhārasphūrtijñānavivarjitam | etaj jñānam iti proktam atha yogaṃ bravīmi te ||
yogo hi bahudhā brahman bhidyate vyavahārataḥ | mantrayogo layaś caiva haṭho’sau rājayogataḥ ||
မိမိ၏အနှစ်သာရပုံသဏ္ဍာန်ကို သိမြင်စေသော အရာသည်—ကೈဝလျ (kaivalya) ဟူသော အမြင့်ဆုံးအဆင့်—အစိတ်အပိုင်းမရှိ၊ အညစ်အကြေးမရှိ၊ တိုက်ရိုက်သဘောပေါက်ရသော၊ စတ်-ချစ်-အာနန္ဒ (Sat-Cit-Ananda) သဘောတရားဖြစ်၏။ မွေးဖွားခြင်း၊ တည်တံ့ခြင်း၊ ပျက်သိမ်းခြင်း၊ ပေါ်ထွန်းခြင်းနှင့် အရာဝတ္ထုအဖြစ်ခွဲခြားသိမြင်ခြင်းတို့၏ အယူအဆများမှ ကင်းလွတ်သော ဤအရာကို ‘ဂျဉာန’ ဟု ခေါ်ကြသည်။ ယခု သင်အား ယောဂကို ပြောမည်။ အို ဘြာဟ္မဏ၊ လက်တွေ့အသုံးအနှုန်းအရ ယောဂသည် မျိုးစုံခွဲခြားကြပြီး မန္တရ-ယောဂ၊ လယ-ယောဂ၊ ဟဋ-ယောဂ နှင့် ရာဇ-ယောဂ ဟူ၍ ဖြစ်သည်။
That by which one knows one’s own essential form—kaivalya, the supreme state—(which is) partless, stainless, directly (realized), of the nature of being-consciousness-bliss. Devoid of (the notions of) origination, continuance, dissolution, manifestation, and (objectifying) cognition—this is declared to be ‘knowledge’. Now I shall tell you of yoga. For yoga, O Brahmin, is divided in many ways in practical usage: mantra-yoga, laya(-yoga), haṭha(-yoga), and rāja-yoga.
