Mandukya

जागरितस्थानो वैश्वानरोऽकारः प्रथमा मात्रा आप्तेरादिमत्त्वाद्वा आप्नोति ह वै सर्वान्कामानादिश्च भवति य एवं वेद ॥९॥

जागरित-स्थानः । वैश्वानरः । अकारः । प्रथमा । मात्रा । आप्तेः । आदिमत्त्वात् । वा । आप्नोति । ह । वै । सर्वान् । कामान् । आदिः । च । भवति । यः । एवम् । वेद ॥९॥

jāgaritasthāno vaiśvānaro ’kāraḥ prathamā mātrā āpteḥ ādimattvād vā āpnoti ha vai sarvān kāmān ādiś ca bhavati ya evaṃ veda ||9||

နိုးကြားအခြေအနေ (jāgarita) ၏ အင်္ဂါဖြစ်သော ဝိုင်ရှ္ဝာနရ (Vaiśvānara) သည် «အ» (A) ဟူသော အသံဖြစ်၍ ပထမ မာထရာ ဖြစ်သည်—အာပတိ (āpti) ဟူသော ပျံ့နှံ့ရောက်ရှိမှု/ရရှိမှုကြောင့် သို့မဟုတ် အာဒိမတ္တဝ (ādimattva) ဟူသော အစဖြစ်ခြင်းကြောင့်။ ဤသို့ သိသူသည် အလိုဆန္ဒအားလုံးကို ရရှိပြီး ပထမဖြစ်လာသည်။

The waking-state (aspect), Vaiśvānara, is the phoneme A, the first measure—because of pervasion/attainment (āpti) or because of being the beginning (ādimattva). He indeed attains all desires and becomes the first who knows thus.
