Verse 14

Kshurika

पादस्योपरि यन्मध्ये तद्रूपं नाम कृन्तयेत् । मनोद्वारेण तीक्ष्णेन योगमाश्रित्य नित्यशः ॥ इन्द्रवज्र इति प्रोक्तं मर्मजङ्घानुकीर्तनम् । तद्ध्यानबलयोगेन धारणाभिर्निकृन्तयेत् ॥ ऊर्वोर्मध्ये तु संस्थाप्य मर्मप्राणविमोचनम् । चतुरभ्यासयोगेन छिन्देदनभिशङ्कितः ॥

पादस्य । उपरि । यत् । मध्ये । तत्-रूपम् । नाम । कृन्तयेत् । मनः-द्वारेण । तीक्ष्णेन । योगम् । आश्रित्य । नित्यशः । इन्द्र-वज्रः । इति । प्रोक्तम् । मर्म । जङ्घा-अनुकीर्तनम् । तत्-ध्यान-बल-योगेन । धारणाभिः । निकृन्तयेत् । ऊर्वोः । मध्ये । तु । संस्थाप्य । मर्म । प्राण-विमोचनम् । चतुः-अभ्यास-योगेन । छिन्देत् । दैन्य-अभिशङ्कितः ।

pādasyopari yanmadhye tadrūpaṃ nāma kṛntayet | manodvāreṇa tīkṣṇena yogamāśritya nityaśaḥ || indravajra iti proktaṃ marmajaṅghānukīrtanam | taddhyānabalayogena dhāraṇābhir nikṛntayet || ūrvormadhye tu saṃsthāpya marmaprāṇavimocanam | caturabhyāsayogena chinded dainyābhiśaṅkitaḥ ||

ခြေဖျားအပေါ်ဘက် အလယ်ပိုင်း၌ရှိသော ထိုပုံသဏ္ဌာန်/ချည်ကပ်ကို စိတ်၏ ထက်မြက်သော တံခါးမှတစ်ဆင့် ယောဂကို အမြဲအာရုံပြု၍ “ဖြတ်တောက်” ရမည်။ ဤကို «အိန္ဒြဝဇ္ရ» ဟု ခေါ်ပြီး ခြေခလယ်ရှိ မာရ္မ (အသက်တည်ရာ) ကို စာတမ်း/အသံဖြင့် ပူဇော်၍ ဖွင့်လှစ်ခြင်း ဖြစ်သည်။ သမာဓိအင်အား၏ ယောဂဖြင့် ဓာရဏာများအားဖြင့် ဖြတ်တောက်ရမည်။ ထို့နောက် ပေါင်အလယ်၌ အာရုံတည်ကာ မာရ္မ၌ ပရာဏကို လွတ်မြောက်စေ၍ လေးမျိုးသော ထပ်ခါထပ်ခါ လေ့ကျင့်ယောဂဖြင့် စိတ်ပျက်ခြင်းကို ကာကွယ်ကာ ဖြတ်တောက်ရမည်။

Above the foot, in the middle (region), one should ‘cut’ that form by the sharp gateway of the mind, resorting to yoga constantly. This is called the “Indra’s thunderbolt,” the activation/recitation of the marma in the calf; by the yoga of meditative power, one should cut by means of dhāraṇās. Then, placing (attention) in the middle of the thighs, releasing the vital force at the marma, by fourfold repeated practice one should cut, guarding against despondency.
