Katharudra

ब्रह्मचर्येण सन्तिष्ठेदप्रमादेन मस्करी ।

दर्शनं स्पर्शनं केलिः कीर्तनं गुह्यभाषणम् ॥

संकल्पोऽध्यवसायश्च क्रियान्निर्वृत्तिरेव च ।

एतन्मैथुनमष्टाङ्गं प्रवदन्ति मनीषिणः ॥

विपरीतं ब्रह्मचर्यमनुष्ठेयं मुमुक्षुभिः ।

यज्जगद्भासकं भानं नित्यं भाति स्वतः स्फुरत् ॥

ब्रह्मचर्येण । सन्तिष्ठेत् । अप्रमादेन । मस्करी ।

दर्शनम् । स्पर्शनम् । केलिः । कीर्तनम् । गुह्य-भाषणम् ।

संकल्पः । अध्यवसायः । च । क्रिया । अन्निर्वृत्तिः । एव । च ।

एतत् । मैथुनम् । अष्ट-अङ्गम् । प्रवदन्ति । मनीषिणः ।

विपरीतम् । ब्रह्मचर्यम् । अनुष्ठेयम् । मुमुक्षुभिः ।

यत् । जगत्-भासकम् । भानम् । नित्यम् । भाति । स्वतः । स्फुरत् ।

brahmacaryeṇa santiṣṭhed apramādena maskarī |

darśanaṃ sparśanaṃ keliḥ kīrtanaṃ guhya-bhāṣaṇam ||

saṅkalpo 'dhyavasāyaś ca kriyānnirvṛttir eva ca |

etan maithunam aṣṭāṅgaṃ pravadanti manīṣiṇaḥ ||

viparītaṃ brahmacaryam anuṣṭheyaṃ mumukṣubhiḥ |

yaj jagad-bhāsakaṃ bhānaṃ nityaṃ bhāti svataḥ sphurat ||

အို သာသနာလမ်းလျှောက်သူ (မစ్కရီ) ရေ—ဘြဟ္မချရိယာဖြင့် မပေါ့မဆဖြစ်ကာ တည်ကြည်စွာနေထိုင်ရမည်။ မြင်ခြင်း၊ ထိတွေ့ခြင်း၊ ချစ်ရေးကစားခြင်း၊ ချီးမွမ်း/သီချင်းဆိုခြင်း၊ လျှို့ဝှက်စကားပြောခြင်း; ထို့နောက် ရည်ရွယ်ချက်နှင့် दृঢ়ဆုံးဖြတ်ချက်၊ အလုပ်ကို အဆုံးသတ်အောင် ဆောင်ရွက်ခြင်း—ဤအရာတို့ကို ပညာရှိတို့က အင်္ဂါရှစ်ပါးသော မૈထုန (လိင်ဆက်ဆံမှု) ဟု ဆိုကြသည်။ ထိုအရာ၏ ဆန့်ကျင်ဘက်ဖြစ်သော ဘြဟ္မချရိယာကို မုမုက္ခု (လွတ်မြောက်မှုကို လိုလားသူ) တို့က ကျင့်သုံးရမည်၊ ထိုသို့ဖြင့် ကမ္ဘာကို ထွန်းလင်းစေသော ကိုယ်တိုင်တောက်ပသည့် အလင်းရောင်၌ နေထိုင်ကာ အစဉ်တောက်ပ၍ ကိုယ်တိုင်မှ ပေါ်လွင်ထွက်ပေါ်နေစေသည်။

By brahmacarya one should remain firm, with heedfulness, O mendicant. Seeing, touching, dalliance, praising/singing, and secret talk; intention and resolve, and also the performance culminating in completion of the act—this is declared by the wise to be eightfold sexual union. The opposite of that—brahmacarya—should be practiced by seekers of liberation, (so that one abides in) that self-luminous radiance which illumines the world and ever shines, flashing forth of itself.
