Amritnada
सव्याहृतिं सप्रणवां गायत्रीं शिरसा सह । त्रिः पठेदायतप्राणः प्राणायामः स उच्यते ॥११॥
स-व्याहृतिम् । स-प्रणवाम् । गायत्रीम् । शिरसा । सह । त्रिः । पठेत् । आयत-प्राणः । प्राणायामः । सः । उच्यते ॥
sa-vyāhṛtiṃ sa-praṇavāṃ gāyatrīṃ śirasā saha | triḥ paṭhed āyata-prāṇaḥ prāṇāyāmaḥ sa ucyate ||11||
ဗျာဟရတိများနှင့် ပရဏဝ (အောမ်) တို့နှင့်အတူ၊ «ရှီရသ» (အပိုင်းဆက်) ပါသော ဂါယတရီကို ခေါင်းထက်တင်သကဲ့သို့ ရိုသေစွာ သုံးကြိမ် ရွတ်ဖတ်ရမည်။ အသက်ရှူကို ရှည်လျားစွာ ထိန်းညှိထားခြင်းကို ပရာဏာယာမ ဟု ခေါ်သည်။
With the vyāhṛtis and with the praṇava, (reciting) the Gāyatrī together with the ‘Śiras’ (appendix), one should recite it three times, with the breath extended/regulated; that is called prāṇāyāma.
