Sūta Gosvāmi
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Role: liberating
It identifies the fourteen-faced Rudrākṣa as non-different from Parama Śiva, teaching that devotional contact with Śiva’s sacred emblem purifies accumulated pāpa and supports the soul’s movement toward liberation.
Like the Śiva-liṅga, the Rudrākṣa is treated as a saguna, worship-worthy form that makes the transcendent (nirguṇa) Śiva accessible; wearing it with bhakti is a continuous act of liṅga-oriented remembrance and reverence.
Dharana of a fourteen-mukhi Rudrākṣa on the head with devotion—ideally combined with daily Śiva-smaraṇa and pañcākṣarī japa (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”)—as a purificatory Shaiva discipline.
