It teaches that worship is completed not merely by offerings but by reverent movement (pradakṣiṇā) and heartfelt praise (stuti), expressing śraddhā—devotional certainty directed to Shiva as Pati, the supreme Lord.
Pradakṣiṇā and hymns are classic limbs of Linga-pūjā, where Saguna Shiva is approached through a sacred form; the devotee honors the divine presence by circling the emblem and praising Devesha with stotras.
Perform pradakṣiṇā in the stated ritual order and then recite stotras with śraddhā; this complements mantra-japa (such as the Pañcākṣarī) and steadies the mind in devotion.
