Praṇava-Māhātmya and the Twofold Mantra (Sūkṣma–Sthūla) in Śaiva Sādhanā
शिवनाम नमःपूर्वं चतुर्थ्यां पंचतत्त्वकम् । स्थूलप्रणवरूपं हि शिवपंचाक्षरं द्विजाः
śivanāma namaḥpūrvaṃ caturthyāṃ paṃcatattvakam | sthūlapraṇavarūpaṃ hi śivapaṃcākṣaraṃ dvijāḥ
ဒွိဇတို့ရေ၊ သီဝ၏ ပဉ္စအက္ခရာ မန္တရသည် “နမಃ” ကို အစမှာ ထားပြီး “သီဝ” ကို စတုတ္ထအက္ခရာအဖြစ် ထားခြင်းဖြင့် ဖွဲ့စည်းထားသည်။ ၎င်းသည် တတ္တဝါ ငါးပါးဖြင့် တည်ဆောက်ထားပြီး၊ ပရဏဝ (အိုမ်) ၏ ထင်ရှားသော (သထူလ) ရုပ်သဏ္ဌာန်ပင် ဖြစ်သည်။

By calling the mantra the “gross/manifest form” of Praṇava, the verse supports Saguna upāsanā—approaching the transcendent (Nirguṇa) through a concrete support: mantra-japa and Linga worship as the audible and visible means to realize Śiva.
Regular japa of “Namaḥ Śivāya” with reverence to Praṇava—ideally alongside Śiva pūjā/Liṅga-arcana—contemplating the five tattvas as purified and offered back to Śiva through the mantra.
