It emphasizes that devotion to Shiva bears fruit when guided by right injunctions (vidhi): a realized sage transmits the correct method, turning worship into a disciplined path toward Shiva’s grace.
The “Pārthiva” method points to Saguna worship through a tangible earthen Liṅga, where form-based devotion becomes a focused means to approach the formless Supreme Shiva.
It directly indicates learning and performing Pārthiva Liṅga pūjā according to prescribed steps—typically supported by mantra-japa (notably Shiva mantras such as the Pañcākṣarī) and disciplined observance.
