Mantra 1
प्र सोमासो मदच्युतः श्रवसे नो मघोनः सुता विदथे अक्रमुः
Forth have the Soma-juices, distilling exhilaration, advanced in the sacrifice, for our renown, O bountiful (lord), when pressed.
Mantra 2
प्र सोमासो विपश्चितो ऽपो नयन्त ऊर्मयः वनानि महिषा इव
Forth go the wise Soma-juices; the waters conduct the streams, like strong buffaloes (forcing their way) through the thickets.
Mantra 3
पवस्वेन्दो वृषा सुतः कृधी नो यशसो जने विश्वा अप द्विषो जहि
Purify thyself, O Indu, vigorous and pressed; make us glorious among men; drive away and destroy all our enemies.

वृषा ह्यसि भानुना द्युमन्तं त्वा हवामहे पवमान स्वर्दृशम्
For thou art indeed vigorous with radiance; thee, splendid, do we invoke, O Pavamāna, heaven-beholding.

इन्दुः पविष्ट चेतनः प्रियः कवीनां मतिः सृजदश्वं रथीरिव
Indu, most purified, intelligent, dear—(thou art) the inspired thought of the sages; send forth the steed, as a charioteer (urges it).

असृक्षत प्र वाजिनो गव्या सोमासो अश्वया शुक्रासो वीरयाशवः
They have flowed forth, the vigorous Soma-juices, cattle-bestowing, horse-bestowing; bright (are they), desiring (to bestow) heroes.

पवस्व देव आयुषगिन्द्रं गच्छतु ते मदः वायुमा रोह धर्मणा
Purify thyself, O divine (Soma), life-bestowing; let thine exhilaration go unto Indra; ascend unto Vāyu according to ordinance.

पवमानो अजीजनद्दिवश्चित्रं न तन्यतुम् ज्योतिर्वैश्वानरं बृहत्
The purifying (Soma) hath generated a wondrous (lustre) from heaven, like thunder (in its resounding), the great Vaiśvānara light.

परि स्वानास इन्दवो मदाय बर्हणा गिरा मधो अर्षन्ति धारया
Around, resounding, the Soma-drops flow in a stream, for exhilaration, strengthening (the gods), accompanied by the hymn, (they flow) with sweetness.

परि प्रासिष्यदत्कविः सिन्धोरूर्मावधि श्रितः कारुं बिभ्रत्पुरुस्पृहम्
The wise (Soma), flowing all around, reposing upon the wave of the stream, sustains the singer, (himself) much desired by many.
