Sukta 9.89

Devata: Soma Pavamāna (for Indra; Vṛtrahan epithet applied to Soma’s empowering role)

वन्वन्नवातो अभि देववीतिमिन्द्राय सोम वृत्रहा पवस्व । शग्धि महः पुरुश्चन्द्रस्य रायः सुवीर्यस्य पतयः स्याम ॥

vánvan ávāto abhí deva-vī́tim índrāya soma vṛtra-hā́ pavasva | śágdhi maháḥ puru-candrásya rāyáḥ su-vī́ryasya pátayaḥ syāma ||

Conquering, wind-driven, move toward the gods’ finding; for Indra, O Soma, slayer of obstruction, purify thyself. Grant us of the great, many-shining richness; may we be lords of a hero-force that is beautiful in its power.
