हवन्त उ त्वा हव्यं विवाचि तनूषु शूराः सूर्यस्य सातौ । त्वं विश्वेषु सेन्यो जनेषु त्वं वृत्राणि रन्धया सुहन्तु ॥

hávanta u tvā havyáṃ vívāci tanū́ṣu śūrā́ḥ sū́ryasya sātáu | tváṃ víśveṣu sényo jáneṣu tváṃ vṛtrā́ṇi randhayā suhántu ||

They call you, the oblation, with the far-sounding word—the heroes within their bodies in the winning of the Sun. You are the battle-worthy in all peoples; you make the obstructing powers submissive, that they may be well-struck and slain.
