युद्धे अङ्गद-मैन्द-द्विविद-राक्षसयुद्धम्; कुम्भस्य प्रादुर्भावः तथा सुग्रीवेण पराभवः

सम्पीड्यरसिचास्कन्धम् करेणाभिनिवेश्य च ।।।।किञ्चिदभ्यवनम्यैनमुन्ममाथयथागजः ।
sampīḍyorasi cāskandhaṃ kareṇābhiniveśya ca |
kiñcid abhyavanamyainam unmamātha yathā gajaḥ ||
သူသည် သစ်ပင်တံကို ရင်ဘတ်ပေါ်သို့ ဖိကပ်ကာ လက်ဖြင့် တင်းတင်းကျပ်ကျပ် ထောက်ထားပြီး အနည်းငယ်ကွေးစေကာ၊ ထို့နောက် အမြစ်မှတိုင်အောင် ဆွဲထုတ်လေ၏—ဆင်တစ်ကောင် သစ်ပင်ကို အမြစ်ကနေ ဆွဲထုတ်သကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်၏။
