Tara’s Lament over Vāli
इषुणाऽभिहतं दृष्ट्वा वालिनं कुञ्जरोपमम्4.20.2।।वानरेन्द्र महेन्द्राभं शोकसन्तप्तमानसा।तारा तरुमिवोन्मूलं पर्यदेवयदातुरा4.20.3।।
iṣuṇā ’bhihataṃ dṛṣṭvā vālinam kuñjaropamam |
vānarendraṃ mahendrābhaṃ śokasantaptamānasā |
tārā tarum ivonmūlaṃ paryadevayad āturā ||
တားရာသည် ဝါနရတို့၏ဘုရင် ဝါလီကို မြင်ရာတွင်—ဆင်ကဲ့သို့ အင်အားကြီး၍ မဟိန္ဒြတောင်ကဲ့သို့ တောက်ပသူ—မြားတံထိမှန်ကာ အမြစ်ပြုတ်သစ်ပင်ကဲ့သို့ လဲကျနေသည်ကို တွေ့လျှင်၊ စိတ်သည် ဝမ်းနည်းမှုကြောင့် ပူလောင်သွား၍ မတည်မငြိမ်ဖြစ်ကာ အသံမြင့်မြင့် ငိုကြွေးမြည်တမ်းလေ၏။
(Turning to Angada Tara said) 'O son, look at your father, a lover of dharma. See him, as it will be difficult to see him later, dear'.
