तेषां जिज्ञासमानानां वीर्यं धनुरुपाहृतम्।न शेकुर्ग्रहणे तस्य धनुषस्तोलनेऽपि वा।।1.66.18।।

teṣāṁ jijñāsamānānāṁ vīryaṁ dhanur upāhṛtam |

na śekur grahaṇe tasya dhanuṣas tolane 'pi vā ||1.66.18||

သူတို့က အင်အားကို စမ်းသပ်လိုသဖြင့် လေးကို ယူဆောင်လာကြသော်လည်း၊ လက်ဖြင့်တောင် မကိုင်နိုင်ကြ၊ မြှောက်တင်ခြင်းဆိုသည်မှာ ပို၍ပင် မဖြစ်နိုင်ခဲ့သည်။
