विश्वामित्रस्य तपोविघ्नः, मेनकाप्रसङ्गः, महर्षिपदप्रदानम्

अहोरात्रापदेशेन गतास्संवत्सरा दश।काममोहाभिभूतस्य विघ्नोऽयं समुपस्थित:।।।।

aho-rātrāpadēśena gatāḥ saṃvatsarā daśa | kāma-mohābhibhūtasya vighno ’yaṃ samupasthitaḥ ||

“နေ့နှင့်ည” ဟူသော အကြောင်းပြချက်အောက်တွင် ကာမနှင့် မောဟတို့က လွှမ်းမိုးနေစဉ် ငါ့အတွက် ဆယ်နှစ် ကုန်လွန်သွားပြီ။ ယခု ဤအတားအဆီးသည် ငါ၏ တပသပေါ်သို့ ရောက်လာ၏။
