कामी वा न कदर्यो वा नृशंस: पुरुष: क्वचित् ।द्रष्टुं शक्यमयोध्यायान्नाविद्वान्न च नास्तिक: ।।1.6.8।।
kāmī vā na kadaryo vā nṛśaṃsaḥ puruṣaḥ kvacit |
draṣṭuṃ śakyam ayodhyāyāṃ nāvidvān na ca nāstikaḥ ||1.6.8||
အယောဓျာ၌ မည်သည့်နေရာတွင်မဆို ကာမလိုလားမှုက လွှမ်းမိုးသူ၊ ကပ်စေးနည်းသူ၊ ရက်စက်သူကို မတွေ့နိုင်ခဲ့။ ပညာမရှိသူလည်း မရှိ၊ နာස්တိက (ဓမ္မကို ငြင်းပယ်သူ) လည်း မရှိခဲ့။
The lustful, the miserly, the unscholarly and atheists were not to be seen anywhere in the city of Ayodhya.
A dharmic community restrains destructive impulses (lust, greed, cruelty) and supports learning and faith in moral order—creating a culture where vice is socially absent or marginal.
The narrator idealizes Ayodhyā by listing moral failings that were not found there.
