किमिदं कथ्यतां पुत्र्य: को धर्ममवमन्यते।कुब्जा: केन कृता: सर्वा वेष्टन्त्यो नाभिभाषथ।एवं राजा विनिश्श्वस्य समाधिं सन्दधे तत:।।।।

kim idaṃ kathyatāṃ putryaḥ ko dharmam avamanyate | kubjāḥ kena kṛtāḥ sarvā veṣṭantyo nābhibhāṣatha | evaṃ rājā viniśśvasya samādhiṃ sandadhe tataḥ ||

“ဒါဘာဖြစ်တာလဲ။ ပြောကြပါ၊ သမီးတို့—ဓမ္မကို မထီမဲ့မြင်ပြုသူက ဘယ်သူလဲ။ သမီးတို့အားလုံးကို ဘယ်သူက ကွေးကောက်ပုံပျက်အောင် လုပ်လိုက်တာလဲ။ ငါ့ပတ်လည်မှာ ရပ်နေတာတောင် ဘာကြောင့် မပြောကြသလဲ။” ဟု မင်းကြီးက နက်ရှိုင်းစွာ သက်ပြင်းချပြီးနောက် စိတ်ကို တည်ငြိမ်စေကာ ထို့နောက် သမာဓိသို့ ဝင်ရောက်လေ၏။
