कैलासपर्वते राम मनसा निर्मितं सर:।ब्रह्मणा नरशार्दूल तेनेदं मानसं सर:।।1.24.8।।
kailāsa-parvate rāma manasā nirmitaṃ saraḥ | brahmaṇā nara-śārdūla tenedaṃ mānasaṃ saraḥ || 1.24.8 ||
“အို ရာမ၊ လူတို့အနက် ကျားသတ္တဝါကဲ့သို့ ရဲရင့်သူရေ—ကೈလာသ पर्वတပေါ်၌ ဘြဟ္မာသည် မနောဓာတ်၏ အင်အားဖြင့် ရေကန်တစ်ကန်ကို ဖန်ဆင်းတော်မူ၏။ ထို့ကြောင့် ဤရေကန်ကို ‘မာနသာ’ (မနသ) ရေကန်ဟု ခေါ်ကြသည်။”
"O tiger among men, Rama. Brahma created out of his mind a lake on mount Kailas and so that lake is called Manasa (Sarovara).
Dharma is supported by reverence for sacred origins: recognizing creation as ordered and meaningful fosters humility and right conduct toward holy places.
Viśvāmitra explains to Rāma the sacred source of a lake on Kailāsa—how it came into being and why it bears the name ‘Mānasa’.
Viśvāmitra’s role as a transmitter of true tradition (satya-itihāsa), linking geography to sacred history for the student’s moral formation.
