बलातिबलोपदेशः
The Instruction of Bala and Atibala
कामं बहुगुणास्सर्वे त्वय्येते नात्र संशय:।
तपसा सम्भृते चैते बहुरूपे भविष्यत:।।1.22.19।।
kāmaṃ bahuguṇāḥ sarve tvayy ete nātra saṃśayaḥ | tapasā sambhṛte caitē bahurūpe bhaviṣyataḥ || 1.22.19 ||
အမှန်တကယ်ပင် ဂုဏ်သတ္တိများစွာတို့သည် သင်၌ ရှိနေသည်—သံသယမရှိ။ ထို့ပြင် ဤဗိဒ္ဓာနှစ်ပါးကို တပ (တပัสယာ) ဖြင့် ပိုမိုခိုင်မာစေသော် အမျိုးမျိုးသော ရုပ်သဏ္ဌာန်များဖြင့် ပေါ်ထွန်းလာကာ သင့်အား ကူညီထောက်ပံ့မည်။
You possess all these qualities in great measure. There is no doubt that If these two sciences (mantras) are nourished with austerities they will assume multiple forms (and benefit you)".
Dharma is sustained by tapas (discipline). Power and knowledge become truly effective—and ethically directed—when cultivated through self-restraint and spiritual effort rather than indulgence.
Viśvāmitra reassures Rāma of his innate virtues and explains that the mantra-vidyās grow more versatile when supported by austerity.
Inner discipline and receptivity: Rāma is portrayed as already virtuous, and capable of deepening that virtue through tapas.
