प्रत्याख्यानम् (Daśaratha’s Objections to Sending Rāma) — Bala Kanda, Sarga 20
बालो ह्यकृतविद्यश्च न च वेत्ति बलाबलम्।न चास्त्रबलसंयुक्तो न च युद्धविशारद:।।।।न चासौ रक्षसां योग्य: कूटयुद्धा हि ते ध्रुवम् ।
bālo hy akṛtavidyaś ca na ca vetti balābalam | na cāstrabalasaṁyukto na ca yuddhaviśāradaḥ || na cāsau rakṣasāṁ yogyaḥ kūṭayuddhā hi te dhruvam ||
သူသည် ကလေးသာဖြစ်၍ စစ်ပညာဗိဒ္ဓာကို မသင်ကြားရသေး၊ အင်အားနှင့် အင်အားမရှိမှုကိုလည်း မခွဲခြားသိတတ်။ အစတြာ (သတ္တဝါတော်အាវုဓ) အင်အားနှင့် မပေါင်းစည်းရသေးသကဲ့သို့ စစ်ပွဲ၌လည်း မကျွမ်းကျင်။ ထို့ပြင် ရာක්ෂသတို့ကို ရင်ဆိုင်ရန် မသင့်တော်၊ အကြောင်းမူကား သူတို့သည် မုချ လှည့်ကွက်ဖြင့် တိုက်ခိုက်သော ကူဋယုဒ္ဓကို ပြုကြသည်။
