प्रत्याख्यानम् (Daśaratha’s Objections to Sending Rāma) — Bala Kanda, Sarga 20

चतुर्णामात्मजानां हि प्रीति:परमिका मम।।।।ज्येष्ठं धर्मप्रधानं च न रामं नेतुमर्हसि।

caturṇām ātmajānāṃ hi prītiḥ paramikā mama |

jyeṣṭhaṃ dharma-pradhānaṃ ca na rāmaṃ netum arhasi ||1.20.11||

ကျွန်ုပ်၏ သားလေးပါးအနက် ရာမအပေါ် ချစ်မြတ်နိုးခြင်းသည် အမြင့်ဆုံးဖြစ်၏။ ထို့ပြင် ရာမသည် အကြီးဆုံးဖြစ်၍ ဓမ္မ၌ အထွဋ်အမြတ်ဖြစ်သဖြင့်၊ သင်သည် ရာမကို ခေါ်ဆောင်သွားခြင်း မသင့်တော်ပါ။
