Narada’s Summary to Valmiki
नगराणि च राष्ट्राणि धनधान्ययुतानि च ।।।।नित्यं प्रमुदितास्सर्वे यथा कृतयुगे तथा ।
nagarāṇi ca rāṣṭrāṇi dhanadhānyayutāni ca |
nityaṃ pramuditāḥ sarve yathā kṛtayuge tathā ||
မြို့များနှင့် နယ်မြေများတွင်လည်း ငွေကြေးနှင့် စပါးသီးနှံအလွန်ပေါများ၍ လူအပေါင်းတို့သည် အစဉ်မပြတ် ပျော်ရွှင်ကြည်နူးနေကြသကဲ့သို့၊ ကൃതယုဂ (ရွှေခေတ်) ကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်၏။
All the cities and villages were affluent with wealth and food grains. People livedhappily as though they lived in Kritayuga.
Dharma is linked with prosperity: when society and rulers uphold righteousness, material sufficiency (grain, wealth) and collective happiness follow.
Nārada describes the flourishing of settlements under Rāma’s rule, comparing it to the idealized Kṛta-yuga.
Just governance that sustains prosperity—Rāma’s ability to create conditions where both economy and ethics thrive.
