भरद्वाजाश्रमात् चित्रकूटमार्गनिर्देशः

सा सम्प्रहृष्टद्विपवाजियोधा वित्रासयन्ती मृगपक्षिसङ्घान्। महद्वनं तत्प्रतिगाहमाना रराज सेना भरतस्य तत्र।।2.92.39।।
sā samprahṛṣṭa-dvipa-vāji-yodhā vitrāsayantī mṛga-pakṣi-saṅghān | mahad vanaṃ tat pratigāhamānā rarāja senā bharatasya tatra || 2.92.39 ||
ထိုနေရာ၌ ဘရတ၏ စစ်တပ်သည်—အားမာန်ပြည့်ဝသော ဆင်များ၊ မြင်းများနှင့် စစ်သူရဲများနှင့်တကွ—ကြီးမားသော တောအုပ်ထဲသို့ ဝင်ရောက်ကာ တိရစ္ဆာန်အုပ်စုများနှင့် ငှက်အုပ်စုများကို ကြောက်လန့်စေပြီး၊ စုဝေးတန်းစီသည့် အလှတရားဖြင့် ထိုတောအုပ်၌ တောက်ပလင်းလက်နေ하였다။
